Time Expressions 1: Parts of the day

To state that something happens repeatedly or regularly within or during certain periods of time Norwegian usually uses the preposition "om." Look at these examples and practice using them by discussing your own daily routine.
om morgenen in the morning
om ettermiddagen in the afternoon
om kvelden in the evening
om natten at (during) the night
om dagen during the day
To ask when something is happening or happened, use the interrogative "når." "Når kommer han?" = When is he coming? Test your understanding here.
